This was for both proving grounds. I used R5 emperor, r7 vader, r4 dooku, r4 malak, r3 drevan for Gideon. Key was to control everything while vader and the rest of the team built up damage. Vader's AOE builds up a ton of stacks, so use that on cooldown during mm. Don't cull, it's better to basic to get another stack.

Fill that up with 2 decent GRs (e.g. R2, Barris, Shaak Ti or similar) and you are good to go. However, in case you are fighting e.g. LV, JML or Rey, then you want GK on the JMK team.Overview Proving Grounds is a 24 hour event that runs monthly immediately after Conquest. To unlock the event, it requires at least 4 million Galactic Power and tiers require Relic 3+ characters. Seems kinda crap, another way for them to limit a 1 year old character behind crystal refreshes instead of placing in a store. 20 shards a month is worse than when toon was in conquest. I managed to beat it with Gas R7 and R5 501st. Focus on either Ezra or Sabine when they have daze, otherwise attack Kanan for minimal counter damage. Use Rex to kill Zeb, and use GAS special ability every time to build up damaged. Be patient, it took multiple tries, RNG is the key. I typically say that whatever team you use in Squad Arena should be your top priority, but let’s face it: your Squad Arena team needs to be Sith Empire at this point.
