You are correct, you get the 6ghz band that can be used for more speed or a duplex connection. So your device could send and receive at once, like Ethernet. Not as good of course, but a lot better than otherwise. You only need a 2.5gig+ switch to take advantage of WiFi 6e speeds, you will get the benefits of the 6ghz band regardless. 37" depth is something than neither the Samson or the Ubiquiti rack offers. For sure that's the sort of thing you'd want if you were planning on mounting a >24" depth rack-mount server. And so many U! It connected to Xfinity and was adopted by my UDM Pro with no issue. The UCI is running 1.2.4 and the last update as on install. Beginning last night the UCI shows as "offline" in the controller. The UDM Pro correctly shows the connection as being active and traffic flows normally and at the same U/D speeds as before. No significant packet loss.

The 1080p cameras from ubnt perform better than cheaper 5mp cameras imo, especially with moving subjects (you know, the stuff we are actually interested in). Ubiquiti got me started. but I’ve since found I much prefer Mikrotik for routing and switches. In fact, for service provider and complex routing mikrotik is the only choice. Mikrotik’s routerOS is pure genius and is the same OS on all devices. Best of all, all their devices are routers and do not require a controller.
