The big thing was removing the globe and putting the bonnet back on without the globe present. The motor wasn't moving. So I disassembled again and noticed that there were cables in the way of the motor and they actually got wrapped around it. Once I fixed that, the motor started working. Biggetybird • 1 yr. ago.
To add, the sensor is two $.01 pieces of plated metal that get litter basically dumped on them with every cycle. So they corrode / get dirty and give tons of false pinch alerts. Sometimes the pinch alert requires a full unplug to reset. I kept finding my LR stuck upside down, leading the cats to find other places to do their messes.It's my fault for adding too much litter and not resetting the weight sensor. Thanks to OP's comments, I was able to remove some litter, pop the lid, manually rotate the ball, put it back together and the robot finally ran a cycle and is all good now. 2.Please let me know how to solve this problem.I had same problem with pinch detect. I cleaned the contacts and still had pinch fault. The pinch wiring feeds to the dfi board so I replaced the dfi board and pinch alarm went away. I also had the red,yellow light. It turned out that I partially pulled out the dfi plug on main board when putting it back together.
