Polaris ranger clunking noise in front end.

On mine it is the secondary. If you pull the belt cover off and pull the belt, you can grab the secondary by hand. Rotate it hard one way, then the other, you will hear the clunking noise. If those are tight and it sounds like it might be coming from the diff'/tranny, that's gonna be tough to diagnose without tearing it apart.The pins that connect the links of the Silent Chain wear which causes the chain to be longer. When the tensioner can no longer keep the chain tight, the chain slips on the 19T sprocket. This is what is causing the loud popping noise.
